At DUCIE, each item is crafted with meticulous attention to detail to ensure both style and durability. To help you preserve the quality and appearance of your jacket, see below for some handy tips.

For all DUCIE pieces store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Where possible, use a broad-shoulder hanger to preserve its shape. Do not apply heat to your piece.

LEATHER:

To care for your item, regularly wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dust and dirt. For a deeper clean, we recommend having it cleaned at a dry cleaner experienced in caring for leather. 

SHEARLING:

If your jacket gets stained, spot-clean it with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Avoid soaking the shearling. For a deeper clean, we recommend having it cleaned at a specialist dry cleaner. Avoid using plastic covers to store your jacket they as can trap humidity.

SUEDE:

To maintain your suede jacket, regularly brush it with a soft suede brush to lift and remove dirt. If your jacket gets wet, allow it to dry completely before brushing it to restore its texture. Avoid wearing it in the rain or getting water on it.
